Victoria Doknjas

 

Victoria Doknjas has been the Canadian Head of Delegation and Team BC Captain including at the North American Youth Chess Championship (in New Jersey 2017 and in New York 2014) and at the World Youth & Cadet Chess Championships (in Halkidiki, Greece 2015). She won the 2016 Canadian Senior Woman Champion title. Victoria teaches group chess lessons, organizes chess events, does chess event photography, and has written articles for national chess publications.

  • Victoria Doknjas has managed and organized provincial championship school chess teams and school chess clubs; and teaches chess workshops, group and private lessons.
  • 2012 and 2011 BC Elementary School Team Champion – 1st Place – Team Manager.
  • 2012, 2011, and 2010 Fraser Valley Regional Elementary School – 3rd Place – Team Manager.

  • Team BC Co-Captain at the 2019 BC-WA International Team Match (Final score: Team BC 26 pts. vs Team WA 26 pts.).
