Envision Financial Credit Union in partnership with BC Chess Workshops presented The Full Cupboard Chess Festival on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Featuring Top BC Junior Chess Champions:

• FIDE Master Jason Cao – BC Champion
• FIDE Master John Doknjas – BC Junior Champion
• FIDE Candidate Master Joshua Doknjas – U16 BC Youth Champion
• Patrick Huang – World Open U13 Champion
• Neil Doknjas –  U12 BC Youth Champion

Approximately $600 in donations were collected for the benefit of the Surrey/North Delta food banks, and participants enjoyed:

• Challenging one of our Top BC Juniors to a Blitz game.
• Playing in a Chess Simul against one of our Top BC Juniors.
• Playing in the Blitz Ladder against peers.
• Enjoying a BBQ lunch.
• Being eligible for prizes.
