The 2024 Pacific Academy Checkmate Chess Championship welcomes all Pacific Academy students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Players will play 4 rounds of chess.
Date / Time: Wednesday, June 5, 2024, starting at 3pm
Venue: Pacific Academy School – exact room # TBA
Sections: TBA based on # of players and their grade level
Round 1 Start Time: 3pm
Rounds: 2, 3, 4 Start Time: ASAP, immediately after previous round ends
Time Control: 15 mins + 10 sec increment
Prizes: Medals to Top 3
Entry Fee: $40; discounted entry fee available for PA Checkmate Champions Members, pls. inquire.
Eligibility: Only current Pacific Academy Students
This is a unrated tournament.
We reserve the right to refuse entry.
Note: Tiebreaks will be used as applicable (see FAQ for more info on tiebreaks).
